# Ground the board in your files and links.

> Ground Premium Research in your own context: upload PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, text, images, or paste public links. LLM Peers extracts citable segments the council can cite.

Web research brings public context. My sources brings yours. On Premium Research, upload documents and images or paste public URLs once, extract them into citable segments, then attach Ready sources to a run so every peer and the chairman share the same private briefing—with [Doc: …] citations you can open from the decision brief.

## What My sources is

My sources is your private knowledge library inside LLM Peers. Add PDFs, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx/.xls), CSV, Markdown, plain text, images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF), or public webpage links. Each item is extracted into segments—pages, sheets, slides, passages, or vision transcripts for images—then marked Ready when it can be attached to Premium research.

## Supported source types

### Documents

PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Markdown, and text—extracted into citable passages with page, slide, or section locators.

### Spreadsheets

Excel and CSV become structured sheet and row ranges so the council can cite the cells that matter.

### Images

Screenshots, charts, and scanned pages go through vision transcription so visible text and key visuals become searchable segments.

### Public links

Paste a URL; LLM Peers fetches readable page content and turns it into link-backed segments you can reuse across runs.

## How attachment works on a Premium run

1. **Add once in My sources** — Upload files (documents up to 25 MB, images up to 10 MB) or paste a public URL. Status moves uploading → processing → Ready.
2. **Attach Ready sources** — On Premium Research, open Attach sources and select items that show Ready. Free Research cannot attach My sources.
3. **Shared private briefing** — Selected segments are packed into a token-budgeted briefing every councilor and the chairman see—alongside optional web research.
4. **Cite and inspect** — Answers can cite [Doc: filename, locator]. Click a citation to jump to the matching passage in Sources; open originals from My sources anytime.

## When My sources matters most

Use it when the decision depends on material the open web does not have—board decks, contracts, financial workbooks, product specs, customer research, screenshots, or an internal wiki page you can share via public URL. Pair it with live web research when you need both private evidence and current public context.

### Is My sources available on Free Research?

No. Attaching files, images, and links is a Premium Research capability. Free Research still runs full multi-model deliberation without private document grounding.

### Do models see my entire library on every run?

No. You choose which Ready sources to attach per run. Only selected segments are packed into that run’s briefing under a depth-based token budget.

### How are citations shown?

Research markdown can include [Doc: …] markers with file name and locator (page, sheet, rows, and so on). In the workspace, citations open the Sources panel on the matching segment.

### Are my uploads public?

No. My sources stay in your account. Public sharing of a research case is opt-in and separate; review privacy guidance before publishing runs that used private documents.
