Privacy Policy

This policy explains how LLM Peers (“we”, “us”), operated by Version Labs, handles information when you use the product. It is written in plain language and may be updated as the product evolves. If you have questions, email us using the contact details below.

How it works

Who we are

LLM Peers is provided by Version Labs. Privacy questions and data requests: contact@versionlabs.co. Please use the subject line “Privacy inquiry” so we can prioritize your message.

Scope

This policy covers information collected through the LLM Peers website and application, including account sign-in, research runs, conversation history, and optional public sharing features. It does not cover third-party websites or services that we do not control, even if you reach them through links from our product.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated while you use the service, and limited technical data needed to operate and secure the product.

Account information from Google sign-in (such as name, email, and profile identifiers needed for authentication)
Research content you submit and content generated during deliberation (questions, intake answers, stage outputs, share settings)
Usage and operational data needed to run the service (for example timestamps, status, and cost/usage metering associated with runs)
Technical logs typical of web applications (such as basic request metadata for security and reliability)
Communications you send us (support emails, privacy requests, partnership inquiries)

How we use information

We use information to provide LLM Peers, keep it secure, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell your personal information.

To authenticate you and provide the LLM Peers workspace
To run multi-model research, store progressive results, and show your conversation history
To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service
To meter usage and enforce product limits where applicable
To communicate about product or account matters when needed
To publish a research page only when you explicitly create a public share
To respond to support, privacy, and legal requests

Model providers and subprocessors

To generate research outputs, we send prompts and related context to third-party model and infrastructure providers (including AI inference providers and cloud services such as Firebase). Those providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

This means content you submit—and content generated during a run—may be processed by subprocessors solely to deliver the service. We select providers as needed to operate LLM Peers and may update the set of subprocessors as the product evolves.

Public sharing

Your research is private to your account by default. If you publish a share link, the published content can be viewed by anyone with the URL and may be indexed by search engines. Unpublish or avoid sharing sensitive material you do not want public.

Only you (or someone with access to your account) can create a public share from your research
Public pages may include the question and decision materials you choose to publish
Treat share URLs as public documents—do not put secrets in them
If you need a share removed and cannot unpublish it yourself, contact us

Data retention

We retain account and research data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet operational, security, and legal requirements. Retention periods can vary by data type (for example account records versus transient logs).

You may contact us to request account or data deletion subject to those requirements. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period, or where we must retain it for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a secure Google account and avoid putting highly sensitive secrets into prompts or public shares.

Children

LLM Peers is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International processing

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our subprocessors operate. If you use LLM Peers from another country, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection rules.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the policy on this page. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
